The snake knots are tied so tight and even that the whole thing feels like one solid piece, not something that'll come apart. I've got it on my EDC flashlight and the copper B3 bead adds just enough weight to make it swing and catch light nicely. Loop fits perfectly over a standard pocket clip too.
